Western Journal of Agricultural Economics
should give significant forethought to leading
informed discussion and research on these
problems and issues. To the extent that they
may resemble problems and issues elsewhere,
national and international members will be
served well by such contributions. We should
continue to address these in our annual meet-
ings and in our journal or alternative publi-
cations.
[Received December 1987; final revision
received March 1988.}
