RICHARD NEALE joined the University of Glamorgan in 1996 after 22 years at Loughborough University.
Previously he had worked for seven years with civil engineering companies. He was Head of the School of
Technology and is now Director of Research. He has more than 100 publications and has won prizes and ‘best
paper’ awards. Richard has worked for UN agencies in 10 countries, and has been Consulting Professor at the
South China University of Technology.
