Metacognitive knowledge

Definition

Metacognitive knowledge is the segment of your stored knowledge that has to do with
people as cognitive creatures, and with their diverse cognitive tasks, goals, actions and experiences
(Flavell, 1979,906)

2.2 Categories of metacognitive knowledge
