6.1 Construction of models of Aboriginal society

This question of models of Aboriginal worlds was put to

all those ’reality definers' consulted in the preliminary

The model of worlds proposed initially to the reality
definers was one of linear development:

This model was rejected by the people and a succession of new
schema was gradually developed,based on the theorizing encountered
in interviews, until, finally, models meeting the approval of all
those consulted were developed.
