who attend schools in which all instruction is carried out
through the medium of the second language, and these
immersion students have shown positive effects on both
verbal and non-verbal intelligence. In the Anglo-Indian
school context, the Indians are the immersion students and
benefit from an immersion programme in the school, which
teaches in the medium of English which is the second
language for non Anglo-Indian students.
